I have had the pleasure of working with Dean Turchin on many projects across Los Angeles. He is meticulously prepared for meetings, always involves me as a Designer which to me is inclusive and collaborative. His skillset is so above and beyond what I’ve been used to with other landscape architects …. The plant materials and the pots are next level out of this world !!! You would be lucky to have Dean and his amazing team finish the landscape and hardscaoe for your residence or business!!

Having lived with a landscape designer in Seattle for over 20 years, my standards are high when it comes to garden design. But Dean is so much more than just a pretty garden. He is so innovative and has the perfect eye in design and you can tell he loves what he does! The next home I move into, Dean will have full reign of the project and I know it will be exquisite. All of his stuff is!

When I first contacted Dean, I was just looking to add some pots along a wall at my house that needed some green to liven up the space, and add a few plants in the front entrance area. I got so much more than that (see photo!). After our initial meeting, I came quickly to trust his design vision. Dean was prompt when we had meetings at the house and in providing me with mock ups of what he was proposing. He presented me with a detailed budget and calculations for each of the pots and plants. I knew I was in trusted hands, and his colleagues went the extra mile to re-do the irrigation system. To sum up, Dean is a garden design savant, honorable, generous, detail oriented and can be trusted to complete the job on budget and on time. I would recommend him to anyone, including my closest friends or colleagues. Thanks Dean!

I found Dean on an IG Story posted by OC Succulents and what a Godsend. He put this beautiful 5 piece earthy potted cacti and succulent display together, and I am beside myself getting to enjoy it's beauty as I type this review. He was prompt, professional, and being an artist myself, I could sense his passion for his work throughout the process of designing, potting, and installation. What a treat. Hire Dean for your artful garden design needs. He is great!

I have been following Dean's work for many years. He has impeccable style when it comes to designing a landscape, mixing plant varieties and thinking outside the box. He does lots of different types of designs and everything he's done I've loved. After moving to a new home last year, I finally got the chance to hire him to give my landscape a much needed makeover. He made choices I was too afraid to make and they turned out really beautiful. I trusted him every step of the way. He and the crew went above and beyond. I usually feel like I'm micro-managing these types of things, but with Dean I was in really good hands. I could just let him do what he does best. He's doing a job that he truly loves to do and it shows in every way! I would recommend him to anyone looking for landscape design and installation without hesitation!
